Divadlo Minor

Divadlo Minor (the Minor Theater) on Vodičkova Street in Prague presents performances for preschool kids, elementary school students, and high-school students, as well as entertaining parents as well.

Divadlo Minor is one of the most popular theaters for children in Prague. Its performances take place on the weekends, as well as on weekdays. Its repertoire is created especially to fascinate both small children and their parents, who will rejoice in bringing out their inner child. Projects are created in cooperation with students of the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theater at the Prague DAMU. An important role in performances is played by music (a live band often accompanies each play) and by the visual aspects of the performances. Divadlo Minor also organizes evening shows for children, parents and teachers, which includes a tour of the backstage areas (this applies to performances on the Big Stage). You can also combine your visit to the theater with a birthday celebration, for which the theater will provide a birthday cake and refreshment, and as an extra birthday treat, one of the actors can come to the celebration and also accompany the celebrants backstage. The theater boasts a colorful interior that inspires the imagination of children and adults alike. The theater is barrier-free and its auditorium can seat around 200 spectators, so it is very suitable for schools. Members of the Spectators Club will enjoy many special offers and discounts.
