This cutting-edge Mexican restaurant, in the heart of the city just off of Old Town Square, offers up an array of dishes from classic tacos and burritos to modern dishes with a hint of rich Mexican spices – each and every dish is prepared with love and special care; Agave also offers mouthwatering original signature cocktails. Agave's chef Christian Dolias, born and raised in Southern California, has a passion for authentic Mexican cuisine and has expert cooking experience from California and Las Vegas, and now Prague – a city that is lucky to have him and his famous, dramatic spicy dishes. The interior of Agave is simply lovely; designed by Zdeněk Sirový (of Zdenek Oysters bar & Fish and Chips), it is a welcoming warmly lit space with elements of dark wood, antique inlaid tiles, murals, collages, and an impressive bar – it is, in a sense, a blend of classic and modern styles, just like the food served. Agave is owned and operated by American Glenn Spicker of U Maleho Glena, Bohemia Bagel, and Burrito Loco fame. Spicker is also the founder of the Communist Museum and Propaganda Music Bar.
