This year, the current network of branches under the Svoboda & Williams brand will expand to other regional capitals. The development of a regional network that will bring top-quality real estate services to clients outside major urban centers is one of its top priorities—within two to three years, Svoboda & Williams plans to open a permanent office with a dedicated team of professionals in each of the Czech and Moravian regions.
“The Czech Republic is becoming wealthier, which is having a positive impact on the development of the premium segment of the real estate market in many parts of the country. Premium properties are no longer the exclusive domain of Prague or Brno—clients are increasingly turning to us with requests for exclusive representation for the sale of exceptional residences in other locations,” says owner of Svoboda & Williams Prokop Svoboda.
Among the most dynamically developing destinations are Ostrava and Karlovy Vary, where Svoboda & Williams’ brokers have already successfully completed a number of transactions. In the Moravian-Silesian capital, these included the sale of 160 apartments in the exceptional Nové Lauby residential project, which filled a gap in the historic city center, and the company is currently selling units in Eva Jiřičná’s new iconic tower, Mrakodrap. In Karlovy Vary, they brokered the sale of trophy properties, including the Baťa department store and the Poštovní dvůr building.
“The highway is being rapidly completed, and in recent years the city has come alive even outside of the film festival. In the past, Russian investments prevented it from falling into disrepair, but at the same time they have now withdrawn, so I see interesting opportunities here for Czech capital,” predicts Svoboda. Within a few months, Svoboda & Williams will open a permanent office in the Pupp Hotel.
Ostrava’s extraordinary potential is defined by its strategic location, high-quality infrastructure, high level of education, favorable investment climate, and the beautiful Beskydy Mountains within easy reach. “The city is on the cusp of an industrial transformation in the new economy, which will also have a positive impact on the real estate market.,” thinks Svoboda. Svoboda & Williams’ permanent branch here will therefore soon open on the ground floor of the Nové Lauby residence.
“Both branches will offer clients a team of experienced brokers with perfect knowledge of the local market, enabling us to respond flexibly to their requirements,” adds Svoboda. In the second half of the year, the agency expects to open further branches in České Budějovice and Plzeň.
