The Slunečná & Slovanka residential project offers a total of 23 apartments designed for permanent or holiday living, emerging in the highest elevated town in Bohemia. Its two carefully renovated buildings combine tradition with high standards, all set against the impressive natural landscape of the Krušné Mountains.
More about the Slovanka project
The Slovanka project consists of two historic buildings in the center of Boží Dar. Both buildings are being meticulously renovated to preserve their original character while creating apartments that meet today’s highest standards. The mountain apartments will be equipped with wooden windows with insulated triple glazing, security entrance doors, and modern technologies.
By the fall of this year, Slovanka will build 13 residential units ranging from 52 m2 to 143 m2 and interior layouts can be modified according to the wishes of future owners prior to completion. “Smaller apartments are the perfect homebase for weekend getaways, while larger ones are a viable alternative to a mountain cabin, but are also suitable for long-term or permanent living,” says Linda Martynková, senior property consultant at Svoboda & Williams.
The Slunečná Residence, set right next to Slovanka and sensitively blending into the surrounding environment with its Historicist style, is about to receive final approval. “The last four apartments with floor areas from 65 to 117 m2 are still available,” says Martynková. “Clients can purchase apartments in any of the buildings in a shell & core condition or have them fully furnished according to designs by the renowned interior architects Ivanka Kowalski and Radka Šrámková,” she adds.
Boží Dar is a lively mountain town with over a dozen restaurants, a grocery store, and several hotels open year-round, so even outside the peak season, it’s never quiet here. At the same time, however, it has retained a peaceful character that many mountain resorts have permanently lost due to intensive development. The main attraction of the area remains the opportunity to draw energy from the surrounding nature.
Its location on a mountain ridge offers excellent facilities for sports enthusiasts, families with children, and active seniors. There are more than 120 kilometers of cross-country trails in the area. Experienced downhill skiers can head to the Neklid ski resort with its groomed snow park or to Klínovec, while families with children will appreciate the two smaller ski resorts right in the village. Even outside of winter, numerous attractions continue to draw tourists: the Novako adventure park, the Boží lookout point, Boží trail, and Ježíškova path with two circuits and many play elements. The spas in Jáchymov and Karlovy Vary are just a few minutes away by car. The new highway, which will soon connect Prague and Karlovy Vary, will shorten the drive from the capital to the mountains to just one hour.
