Ovenecká 9: Housing for Those Who Want to Experience Letná

13.05.2025

Based on an exclusive agreement, Svoboda & Williams is launching the sale of the residential units in the Ovenecká 9 corner building from the early 20th century, which will soon be meticulously reconstructed. Its offers a chance to live in a trendy Prague neighborhood with a friendly community atmosphere, within easy reach of two popular parks – Letenské Sady and Stromovka.

“The reconstruction of this historical building will also include a two-story extension and a courtyard annex. Ovenecká 9 will offer 67 units – 5 studios and 62 modern apartments with practical one-bedroom and two-bedroom layouts, perfect as a primary home or long-term investment,” says Aneta Dvořáková, property consultant at Svoboda & Williams. Facilities include triple-layer oak floors, casement windows, wooden paneled doors, and quality sanitary ware. Extra storage space is provided by cellar storage units and some apartments come with the option of purchasing a parking space in a car stacker.

“Ovenecká 9 stands on a quiet street that starts at the National Technical Museum by Letenské Sady Park, passes through Letenské Square, and ends in Stromovka Park. The Museum of Agriculture is a few steps away and walking to the National Gallery, the Metronome, and Prague Trade Fair Palace takes only fifteen minutes,” continues Dvořáková as she names the most popular spots in the immediate vicinity of the residential project.

The neighborhood is home to a wide range of restaurants, cafes, bistros, and bars, and Letná’s main streets are lined with traditional stores and designer shops and boutiques. Kindergartens and schools, a supermarket, and the Stromovka shopping mall are all within easy reach on foot. This variety of food and shopping options, and perfect urban amenities, are the reasons that Letná is one of the most popular residential parts of Prague. The location also offers excellent transport connections. A tram stop is a 2-minute walk from the building, while the Hradčanská and Vltavská metro stations are a 5-minute tram ride away, but can also be reached by a brisk walk in 15 minutes.
