Fait Gallery

Fait Gallery is one of the best independent contemporary art galleries in the Czech Republic.

Located in Brno, Fait Gallery is a private gallery institution founded and sponsored by Brno native Igor Fait. The main goal of Fait Gallery is to initiate the development of contemporary art and to extend its spectrum of interest beyond the Czech and Central European context. The gallery features three parallel exhibitions that cover art from the 20th century to the 21st century (a full list of artists is available on their website). At Fait you can see artworks from established Czech artists as well as evocative, contemporary pieces from younger generations. Housed in a gorgeous renovated factory building that dates to the late 19th century, the building itself is a lovely sight for lovers of old industrial architecture. The factory boasts over 3,000 meters of exhibition space that includes the main gallery and two smaller galleries. The complex boasts the onsite Café Mütter and the ArtMap bookstore. The gallery also supports private art collecting, and cooperation with foreign galleries. Conveniently located only 10 minutes by foot from the center of Brno, Fait Gallery is easily reachable.
