Old Town
Old Town which was originally called Prague Town is the oldest and the most charming city neighborhood in Prague. This historic quarter started to be continuously inhabited from the 11th century already. Old Town is famous mainly thanks to the Old Town Square - It was there where many important political and cultural events that influenced Prague's multi-layered history took place. Major monuments such as the Old Town Hall and Astronomical Clock, The Church of Our Lady before Tyn, Karolinum, Municipal House and more are situated in Old Town.
