Leeda

The designers Lucie Trnková and Lucie Kutálková, both graduates of the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, design limited edition fashion collections under the Leeda brand which are designed to delight all those who love and appreciate a truly distinctive style.

All clothes by Leeda are made in the Czech Republic from high-quality materials, such as silk, cotton and jersey. Its collections include interestingly-tailored dresses, pants, T-shirts, and swimwear using original cuts and merry colors. It is important for the designers that all designs be wearable and functional in addition to beautiful and fun. The clothing by Leeda is simple, but you will always be attracted by the interesting details which set it apart from off-the-rack clothes. Although most of the Leeda designs are for women, the brand recently introduced a collection for men. An important element of Leeda is its cooperation with artists from other fields – be it photographers, graphic designers, film makers, or architects. Among the more famous collaborators of the company was the late architect Jan Kaplický. The force behind the ever-changing interior of the Leeda boutique, found not far from the National Theater, is architect Mirko Neckář, who is also behind the production design of the label’s fashion shows.
