Hana Zárubová

Collections by the talented Czech fashion designer Hana Zárubová have earned success not only among fashion critics and experts, but also among those who have fallen in love with her fashion for its minimalist design, futuristic shapes, and unusual materials.

Hana Zárubová, a graduate of the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, creates her own collections under the “by hanazarubova” brand. Her limited collection of clothes and accessories, called simply “no.”, is designed in cooperation with graphic designer Štěpán Malovec and presents a line of original numbered pieces. These are sporty-yet-elegant clothes offering sophisticated cuts in which Hana's favorite colors of black, anthracite and light gray predominate. These same colors are also found in her Air Force collection, which was inspired by wind, and in which Hana Zárubová works with parachute silk and neoprene shaped into unusual silhouettes and combined with jersey or wool. Hana Zárubová has been nominated several times for the Czech Grand Design's Fashion designer of the year.
