Stanice 6, or “station 6,” is a reimagined community hub inside the historic Bubeneč train station — a place where a bistro, bar, gallery, gym, and cultural space all meet on one platform.

The founders’ mission was simple: to transform an old structure into a spot where locals, creatives, families, commuters, and wandering visitors would naturally cross paths. And that is exactly what happens at Stanice 6. Built in 1850 and silent since the last train pulled out in 2014, the Bubeneč station has now been lovingly revived. After years of community discussions, architectural care, and bold ideas, it has become a multifunctional space that blends its past with a lively present. The ground-floor bistro and platform bar serve local coffee and beer, natural wines, and tasty seasonal snacks. Upstairs, there is a free art gallery focused on young artists, along with creative workshops for families. On the lower floor, there is a flexible open space that functions as a gym, complete with ping-pong tables, strength-training equipment, a Goldsprint racing station, and more. You can also rent restored vintage bikes here for exploring the city. The main hall of the old train station is used for concerts, screenings, talks, classes, sports, and neighborhood gatherings. It’s a space shaped by whoever walks through the door — for weddings, birthdays, or simply meeting new people in a place designed for socializing.
