Café Neustadt is a hip cafe located in the historical courtyard of Prague's New Town city hall complex.
This establishment, which doubles as a cafe and music venue/social spot is a great place to enjoy delicious coffee drinks and light meals in the center of Prague throughout the day and into the evening. A varied music program brings all sorts of patrons to Café Neustadt – DJs and live bands of different genres play here often; the music schedule can be found on their Facebook page listed below. The interior of this non-smoking hipster joint is an attractive blend of mismatched colorful retro tables and chairs with clean walls and modern fittings. Fresh flowers adorn the tables, there is a DJ booth (music is provided all day), and the above-mentioned leafy courtyard boasts great seating during the warmer months. Visit for breakfast, enjoy a perfect cup of coffee with a homemade dessert, sunbathe in the courtyard, or pop in at night for a little bit of New Town socializing - Café Neustadt is where it's at. Café Neustadt is operated by the owner of Café V lese (Cafe in the Woods), a music venue, cafe and bar in the neighborhood of Vršovice.
