Bitcoin Coffee

As the name suggests, Bitcoin Coffee is no ordinary cafe.

It is situated on the ground floor of a unique Holešovice establishment that is being operated by Paralelní Polis. This Czech NGO puts emphasis on two basic principles – decentralization and crypto-anarchism, combining the most up-to-date technologies, art and social science. Apart from the Institute of Cryptoanarchy, the Paper Hub co-working space and a 3D workshop & printer, the building on Dělnická Street has an untraditional cafe hidden inside. According to the Paralelní Polis association, Bitcoin Coffee is a "coffee lab" aiming at achieving superior taste in each and every cup of coffee, all the while reflecting the flavor profile and unique character of each variety of coffee used, as well as the influence of the environment in which the coffee grew. In other words – the baristas at Bitcoin Coffee know their coffee very well and are carefully watching over the "life line" of each coffee bean, from plantation through coffee roaster to coffee lever. Once you enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, you can complete the taste with any of the delectable desserts and other specialties offered at Bitcoin Coffee. What is more, you will surely appreciate the cafe's interior, which is simple and modern, yet truly cozy, and therefore ideal for work, relaxation, studying sessions as well as both formal and informal meetings. Before you stop by this unique cafe, please note that they only accept payment in cryptocurrencies, not Czech crowns. Currently you can pay with Bitcoins, Litecoins or the Monero cryptocurrency. Not sure how to do that? The only thing you are going to need is a special wallet, which you can obtain by two different means – either you can download it to your smartphone or get a paper "credit card" at the cafe. Bitcoin Coffee is open from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
