In January 2024, the winning design from the renowned Klaska studio was selected. The concept is based on the logic of the surrounding urban fabric and aims to create a distinctive design that will blend seamlessly with its surroundings. The design develops the rationale of the historic and newly constructed buildings and adapts to the scale and rhythm of the neighbouring buildings. Key original parts of the building, such as the arches on the ground floor, play a vital role in the overall organisation of the space. The lobby for the office space, the café and the embedded mezzanine with the Co-Work space are seamlessly connected, ensuring high permeability and creating a dynamic and welcoming atmosphere. Thanks to the transparent façade of the parterre, these architectural elements will also be visible from the public space, linking historical heritage with modern urbanism.
Location:
In addition to the Masaryk railway station, there is also the Náměstí Republiky metro station (line B) and several tram lines in the vicinity; the Prague Central Station is only a few minutes' walk away. The surrounding area offers a wide range of services, shops, restaurants and cultural institutions.
