Palác Adria
Located in Prague's bustling New Town neighborhood on the corner of Jungmannovo náměstí and Národní třída is Palác Adria, a gorgeous Rondo-Cubist structure.
This architectural gem is on a wondrous square that features Art Deco and Art Nouveau structures as well. The palace has an attractive cafe on the top floor with a large terrace that overlooks the interesting square – perfect for a sunny afternoon, a famous Czech theater, an antique book dealer in the palace's lower level, as well as a small gallery displaying works by local artists, and more. This Rondo-Cubist palace was built between 1923 and 1924 and was designed by Czech architect Josef Zasche in collaboration with Pavel Janak. This is truly a must see for fans of design as the specific Rondo-Cubist style is not so typical in the world of architecture.
