About the project
The cottages, poetically named Anna and Josef, are being created as two completely independent and energy self-sufficient new buildings, each offering an impressive living area of 250 m². Both structures, set at a comfortable distance from each other, were designed by an architectural studio focused on solutions that meet contemporary needs while remaining timeless. The perfectly crafted buildings will blend seamlessly with the surrounding environment, enhancing it rather than disrupting it. A sauna adds to the ultimate relaxation experience. High-quality materials are used in an understated way, just like the large private garden, designed with sustainability and a sensitive approach to the environment in mind. In keeping with the spirit of the studio that personally designed the garden, even the journey to the plot and its location are enchanting. The expected completion date is the end of 2025.

Location
The project is set on a southwest-facing meadow slope, surrounded mostly by deciduous forests. In spring and summer, the trees are decked in fresh green, which transitions into a colorful autumn display before giving way to the innocent white of winter. In spring and summer, one can hear the buzz of bees enjoying the flowers of the meadow, while birds sing to catch attention. Birds of prey glide silently high above. Grazing roe deer seem almost unaware of the world around them but will quickly dash to the safety of the forest if disturbed. The natural scenery unfolds like an endless, ever-changing film. Views from the garden and the future home of the surrounding Jizera Mountains are so breathtaking that, if captured on canvas, they might look almost like a painting too perfect to be real.
