Bar and Books

Visit one of Prague's sought after Bar and Books venues, established in 1990. Bar and Books operates two bars in New York, one in Warsaw and two in Prague.

Týnska Bar and Books is located right in the historic center of Prague, not far from Old Town Square. This popular bar where you can go to enjoy whiskey, cocktails and cigars has the capacity of seating 75 people. Its elegant interior features a British colonial style: vaulted ceilings, a copper bar, leather seats, dark wood and, of course, bookcases full of books. The bar boasts with one of the largest portfolios of whiskey in Central Europe. It also provides a wide cigar selection (including hand-made cigars), Champagne, quality wines and original signature cocktails. The always present James Bond on a screen and perfectly selected music create a posh, yet relaxed atmosphere. The second branch, Mánesova Bar and Books can be found in Vinohrady, one of the most sought-after and luxurious residential neighborhoods in Prague. Mánesova Bar and Books is a more casual counterpart of the formal Týnská Bar and Books. The interior, like the Bar and Books NY establishment, features leather armchairs and intimate booths to seat groups of guests. Besides the main room with a bar, a private lounge bar with a fireplace is also available, suitable for birthday parties and other social events. Mánesova Bar and Books also offers an extensive selection of whiskey, Champagne, premium wines, rums, signature cocktails and cigars, including their own brand of hand-made cigars. Live music concerts and burlesque shows are regularly in the program.
