Are you searching for high quality Czech glass that features innovative design? If so Olgoj Chorchoj is for you.
The Olgoj Chorchoj Prague studio has gained an international reputation for high quality, beautiful design objects over the years and has been presented with many awards. Besides glass, porcelain and jewelry, the design studio that was founded in 1990 during a workshop at the Vitra Design Museum also provides innovative architectural services and design. The designers at Olgoj Chorchoj including Jan Rosický, Lars Kemper, Pavol Mikuláš and Petr Mikošek are considered to be the best of the best in the world of glass design by glass experts from around the world, which is why the studio is involved with many certified Czech glassworks including Zdeněk Lhotský, Kavalier and Květná. In cooperation with Květná glassworks, a well-known company that specializes in handcrafted glass made with traditional technologies, Olgoj Chorchoj designed the Konus, Ez, Cut and Mr. Egg drinking sets. Mr. Egg was awarded the Design Plus Award in 2006. In 2006 Olgoj Chorchoj also started to cooperate with the famous Pilsner Urquell Company by producing a series of beer glasses for the worldwide market. Olgoj Chorchoj glass products can be purchased at design boutiques around Prague such as Modernista, an avant-garde shop specializing in Czech design.
