Playful functional furniture and design products that border on poetic – this is one way to describe the wonderful objects created by award-winning designer Boris Klimek.

Boris Klimek is a local Prague product and interior designer who creates sought after collections of furniture, lighting, and home accessories. A graduate from the Academy of Art, Architecture and Design in Prague, in studies of Product and Conceptual Design, Klimek also attended influential internships abroad in Sheffield, England at Hallam University and at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, Slovakia. He also was lucky to practice his design work under the watchful eyes of designers Michal Froněk and Jan Němeček at the famous Olgoj Chorchoj studio. Since then this talented designer has won numerous awards from Germany and the Czech Republic. Clearly Boris Klimek is one to watch if you are interested in the world of design and especially its young talents. He strives to make his design products fun, functional, poetic, playful and able to stimulate human emotions, and most importantly, imagination - we can wholeheartedly state that he has succeeded in this.
