Podolí Swimming Center

Podolí Swimming Center on the Vltava riverbank, used by swimming enthusiasts since 1965, is among the most popular swimming facilities in Prague.

Besides the great swimming pool, the center also offers an outdoor water slide, and a large grassy space for summer sun-bathing. The center also offers a steam bath, Finnish sauna, rehabilitation and a tanning salon, ensuring there is something for everyone. Swimmers will especially appreciate the big indoor swimming pool (50 m) and two outdoor swimming pools (50 and 33 m). In the smaller outdoor swimming pool that is even heated (the water temperature - 26-27° C), you can swim during all operating hours; the indoor swimming pool is available except when it’s reserved for schools, trainings or sporting events. The Podolí Swimming Center comes alive especially during hot summer days when it becomes the place for water lovers and families; the center is perfect for families with small children as children can frolic in the paddling pool or on the water slide while parents sunbathe and relax. In the winter months you can visit the sauna, steam bath or tanning salon and have a break from hectic life. The Podolí Swimming Center also offers rehabilitation – from complete hydro therapeutic procedures to physiotherapy. The swimming pool is open daily from 6 a.m. until 9.45 p.m.
