Dva Domy Offers Retail Premises on One of the World’s Most Attractive Streets

Křižíkova Street is now a sought-after “high street” that sets the stage for the rest of Karlín. Standing in its very center is the multifunctional Dva domy project developed by Karlín Group, which will add premium apartments and two retail premises to Karlín’s main commercial thoroughfare. New owners of the latter will appreciate having excellent visibility and direct access to the street that Time Out magazine ranked among the most interesting in the world.
The character of a progressive urban district is defined by streets that act as distinctive micro-locations, and so everything city dwellers need can be found in a relatively compact neighborhood. An excellent example is Prague’s Křižíkova Street, where superlative restaurants, a rich spectrum of services, smaller design shops, famous brand stores, and the headquarters of local and foreign companies all meet.
Contemporary architecture lives side by side with Art Nouveau buildings, and there are also plenty of green spaces for relaxation, whether on Karlínské náměstí Square with its Neo-Romanesque church, on Lyčkovo náměstí Square, or in the newly emerging park by the Corso Karlín and Corso II office buildings. The Dva domy project, designed by the Bevk Perovič Arhitekti studio, stands in the immediate vicinity of Corso Karlín. Its eight floors offer a total of 112 apartments and 2 street-level retail premises—one with a floor area of 893 sq. m., and the other with a floor area of 636 sq. m.
The two retail premises now provide the opportunity to create something truly original in a successful and increasingly sought-after neighborhood. The other advantage of the spaces is their diversity of usage, e.g. as a design concept store, a beauty salon, a modern optician’s, or impressively designed offices, all of which have windows onto the dynamic street just outside.
