The premium boutique Šlikova 16 residential project with 10 airy apartments with terraces or two private front gardens have been created thanks to the complete and sensitive reconstruction of a historic apartment building in the picturesque district of Prague 6 – Břevnov, characterized by a relaxed atmosphere and a distinctive touch of elegance.

The architects from the BY architects studio undertook the task of refurbishing this early 20th century building. They approached the original craftsmanship elements with the utmost respect, restoring them to their original beauty, and bravely set about harmonizing them with contemporary materials, colors, and modern technology. On its street-facing side, the building has retained its historical character, while the inner courtyard has opened up and let in plenty of daylight through large windows without sills. The restored historic stone staircase is complemented by a modern elevator.

Apartments
Ten one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments guarantee a cozy atmosphere, and there are only 2 units on each floor. Floor areas vary between 45 sq. m. and 80 sq. m. The two apartments on the lowest floor come with private gardens, while the rest have a larger or smaller terrace. The premium facilities in the interiors include oak parquet floors in a herringbone pattern, WOW designer hexagon tiles, designer sanitary ware, security wooden panel entrance doors, and double-wing panel and full rebated interior doors, all with brass handles and magnetic locks. Windows are wooden with insulated triple-glazed panes; the surface of the terraces is made of larch wood. Larger apartments come with a storage room.
Location
A magical place in Prague 6 in the immediate vicinity of the Tejnka monument zone and near Hradčany. In the immediate vicinity, there are many cafes and restaurants, a supermarket and farm produce shops, state and private schools and kindergartens, as well as numerous sports fields. Ladronka Park, the Great Strahov Garden, the Petřín Gardens, or the Hvězda game reserve are all nearby. The ride to the city center takes about 15 minutes by tram from the nearby stop, it's possible to reach the Hradčanská metro station in less than 10 minutes, and you can easily drive to the Municipal and Prague ring roads and reach the airport in 20 minutes.
